Project Overview

A documentary that captures the human side of journalism in times of war.

A Perfect Blend of Elegance and Functionality

Eyes of Gaza follows three Palestinian journalists who continue reporting despite bombardment, displacement, and constant uncertainty. Rather than documenting conflict from a distance, the film remains alongside those living and reporting through it every day. Produced by FishEye Films with AJ360, the documentary combines investigative journalism with cinematic storytelling to preserve moments that might otherwise disappear. Through intimate access and observational filmmaking, the project offers audiences an authentic perspective on resilience, responsibility, and the pursuit of truth.

The Challenge

Producing a documentary where every production decision depends on changing realities.

Creating Eyes of Gaza required operating inside an active conflict zone where security conditions, communication, logistics, and access could change within minutes. Every stage of production demanded flexibility while maintaining journalistic credibility and cinematic quality. FishEye Films coordinated field production, production management, and editorial workflows to support the team on the ground, ensuring the documentary could be completed without compromising the authenticity of the story or the safety of those involved. The result reflects the experience of producing meaningful documentaries in complex environments.
